Mia LOVES her swimming suit. And, she LOVES to swim. So just in case, she seriously wears her swimming suit every day, mostly under her clothes. But sometimes that IS the days outfit, or at the very least, it's hanging from her arm. She has even been known to sleep with it in her hand, all night. I just had to share a few pictures I'd taken of her hangin' in her suit.

Mia - All girl
Mia has always loved to accessorize and talk on the phone! Most everything has been viewed as a possible necklace, bracelet, or head accessory. She used to take them on and off all day long. In addition, Mia has "talked on" remotes, baby monitors, business cards, calculators and really about anything that seems to resemble the shape or function of a phone. She's been doing it forever but is kind of growing out of it so I thought I'd post a few pictures I'd taken to memorialize her cuteness.

Sisters - Ivy & Mia
Ivy - 7 weeks old
Mia helping her sister with her binki! She loves her sister "I-ee"
...Hi I-ee!!, she says
I just sat there and took a bunch of pictures of the interchange because it was too cute to watch! So view the pix like it's a video.
At the end is Nana Brinton, Ivy (3 weeks) and Mia saying "cheese" in the first photo as she holds the camera.

Easter
Happy Easter! Our little bunny rabbit was caught snoozing after a long day of hiding easter eggs. Yesterday Mia was able to go on 2 easter egg hunts and it wasn't until the second where she figured out the point of gathering easter eggs. Now she can say "egg" and knows that looking inside is a treat awaiting her!
Mia's biggest treat was holding a real live bunny rabbit. She couldn't stop giggling with each wiggle the rabbit would do with his nose.
Of course every girl needs a new easter dress and here Mia is walking down the runway in her new dress (given by Katie Evans -our neighbor- as a gift for Ivy, but just so happened to fit Mia perfectly!!).
Mia loves putting on her own shoes and insists on doing so first thing every morning when she wakes up. She loves Dora, almost too much. Here she is sitting in her Dora chair, with all of her favorite things...her blanket, monkey, bottle, sun glasses, and if you could see her feet you'd see she has her shoes on. And yes, she will sit and watch Dora with those sunglasses on for quite a while!

Ivy Ashby Harding
She's arrived! Born February 16, 2008. Ivy Ashby Harding. 6lbs 8oz, 18 1/2 inches, 4:37pm. She's perfect and pink and beautiful!! We feel so blessed with our newest addition! Mia is happy and confused at the same time with her new sister. She calls her "bay-bee" and gets excited to go see Ivy in her crib in the morining. Mia also likes to share her shoes, sunglasses and phone with Ivy. I'm sure they'll be the best of sisters and friends! :) Brandon is loving it too. He is a great father to Mia and Ivy and a super star husband and support to me. We're ALL "so glad when daddy comes home, glad as we can be"!!! Mia LOVES her "dad-dee" and it seems their bond grows more and more every day. We are all happy and enjoying the newness of Ivy's presence in our family!
